Also the price of gold is reflecting the sinking of the dollar and the euro because
in South African rand we are still like 10% away from the high of the start of the year

It's beyond a freaking joke.  U.S "Financial markets" are nothing but a compensation package for wallstreet. I read yesterday that BoA is going to pay back the TARPit. Seems they are not happy about restrictions on their bonuses. Amazing isn't it? How fast they can become  un-broke when their bonuses are in jeopardy? Oh noooo, we mis-broke, it's okay now. Can we get this done by the end of the year?

Dear  Synchronized Simpletons:   Dubai government made an announcement to the global  "talent" yesterday. It went something like this:  Bail out? Bite me.  And have a nice day.
In case you two were too busy holding hands in federal reserve school, that's called Capitalism--make stupid investments and you will be liquidated.

Bring on the black swans! "We the People" aren't getting anything from this except the bills. At least we can enjoy watching these pig faces  get slaughtered.

I think I read that they count on getting 29 billion from  new issue to shareholders
Good luck to those crazy enough to buy ( personal opinion)
In the meantime North Korea show how to do it
Issue a new currency 1 to 100 and you can get only 40$ worth ; the rest is "confiscated"

Where I am going I ain't certain
Where I am going I don't know
All I know is that I'am on my way

I know I'm very excited about buying BoA so they can raise money to pay off TARPit and then give themselves bigger bonuses for that "talent."  Where do I sign up for that?

I think  Bernanke or the other Simpleton should buy up  the whole subscription. That way the taxpayers would still get screwed, the existing stockholders would have their shares diluted and the "talent" would be able to increase their bonuses for coming up with a plan that a four year old could have thought of. Oh and it's good "to spread the wealth." Maybe the Golden Boys can underwrite it.

Get well soon and don't worry. Gold will probably be on the moon somewhere when your better.  Unless of course they do something right over here....nah. ;D

I wonder what they do these days to bank presidents who keep fraudulent books. Lower their year end bonus?

On the second day of Corruptmas my new gov sent to me, one Billary, and a Twink in the Treasury.

O.K. now PYW, I have placed a 'sell' order with my broker to let 75% it go at $1251. What is your oppinion, and how long if ever will this take to get there? ???

If you are talking current gold or equivalents then I see 1250-1400 $ by the first week of january
I am not selling any gold before 2012 though
Only fiddling in miners
This here correction because of the fabulous employment figures only DOWN 12 000 could extend losses for another week
As long as we stay above 1050 nothing happened
From now on we will have to live with 50 dollar a days swings
I just got my last batch of Lizzies and one of them is a MS65

If this should happen before the first of the year, I'll go ahead and sell. This way it gives me time to do some fancy footwork (bookkeeping) before the IRS comes a calling. If it hasn't been sold by the 31st of this month, I  pull the plug and ride it out a while longer.  Thanks for the information, it's appreciated.

The only thing we have NOT is capital gains tax ; because nobody but the government friends is supposed to have capital to have gains on  :D
On the other hand , banks will gladly take 8% of any share trade in foreign money to sell them shares intercomputerwise  ???

I just heard the anointed one say, "And I expect to use some of the unused TARP money to help pay down the national debt." WHAT THE #@%& ???? Oh great one, how does one use borrowed money to lessen a debt?

Because  he's an intellectual just like Woodrew Wilson-- another clown who saw himself as a "savior." He can probably recite Shakespeare verbatim but don't ask him to do anything practical like adding 2+2. Stoner  was just as bad but not because he was an intellectual.

TARP was and still is nothing but a plundering scheme. The empire is collapsing and every cockroach on wallstreet and mainstreet knows it and wants to steal as much as they can before it's over.

They're no $&#*@%$ good. The whole lot, democrat, republican, rino democratlins, republicat, commie puke, whatever, they work for themselves.

Ooops, how thoughtless of me to forget:

On the fourth day of Corruptmas my new gov  sent to me, four corporate jets, three Detroit Turkeys, one Billery,  and a Twink  in the Treasury.

If this keeps up, I don't look to be selling anything in the near future.

I think we will be deviding the furniture by monday .
We will sent the $ to the hospice on friday and it will not return
I don't plan to come to the funeral though
At the moment I am watching one minute charts again of dollar, gold , HUI and shares

Remember the excuse was only 12 000 jobs lost but seasonally there are a lot of temp jobs around right now
My cycle for a top first week of january is still not invalidated

I'm sure you are right on this issue, but for what I intended to do, must be dated 2009.

The first week in January is only a near miss, so to speak, and I'll need to figure out something else.
Oh well, it keeps the blood flowing!

The good news is that my pal the ex coindealer sold some gold last week and he got spot without having to haggle
For all practical purpuses 31st december may give a good price allthough everything points to a january new all time high .
