Daniel Carr In Coin World
September 08, 2009, 07:53:59 PM
Has anyone noticed the story about Daniel Carr in the latest edition of Coin World?

It deals with his medals being faked, and offered for sale by others.

Interesting story.

 :) :) :) :)

I haven't  gotten the last two issues of CoinWorld.  Maybe the mail man will waddle by tomorrow with something. If he's not too busy.

I get Coin World on-line.

Only $9.95 a year and you get other coin publications also.

I hope that's the Sept 14 issue. That's the one I got today. I never got Sept 7. Filed a missing issue report with CW but the notice said 4-6 weeks to process.

I have thing or two to say here!!!  I haven't heard from Daniel in quite some time so I am wondering if he ever started selling the silver bullion with the Moonlight Mint designs?

Longnine I actually busted out laughing at your little quote, "Thank you for holding your breath while I smoke!"  That is a good one!

Thanks but I stole that from a bumper I once saw about 20 years ago.  ;D

Silver's been climbing. If it gets too high will we still be able to get medals? We could always switch to half dollar size. Personally I like that size better  anyway.  8)

The copper was exceptional.  Wouldn't mind another.
