Jagath Guru Sree Narayana Gurudev 1856 - 2006
2006 Birth sesquicentennial year of Sri Narayana Guru, the greatest Social Reformer of modern Kerala Cultural Mission (Kerala), born August 1856
The Government of India has in recognition to the contributions of the great Jagat Guru Sree Narayana Gurudev released a coin of five rupees value. But in a nation of more than a billion the number of such coins minted and circulated is only meagre . Coins are now not available for circulation as the available ones are safely kept with individuals who view the Guru with high reverence. The Government should mint and make available at least one crore coins for circulation. The great message of the Guru like 'one caste, one religion and one God for human being' is highly relevant in recent times. It is also necessary to install a statue of Sree Narayana Guru in a prominent place in the Capital. I request the Government to take immediate steps in this regard.
I cannae help you with the KM number, as I don't have a recent publication of Krause. :(
