Title: Coins with pyramids
Post by: Zoins on December 27, 2018, 06:36:18 PM: The Mexico 20 Centavos showing the Pyramid of the Sun at TeotihuacÃ¡n in front of the volcanos IztaccÃhuatl and PopocatÃ©petl was the world coin from my youth that really stood out as I just really liked the pyramid and thought the rays behind the 20 denomination was great. My childhood coin was a brown EF and I recently picked up the following MS65RD for $50 to relive my youth. Of course, a couple of months later, I couldn't resist picking up something looking very similar for $2 out of a dealer's junk box ;)

I'm a big fan too. I have a cap & rays peso that I just love and I'm a big fan of the Caballito and others too. They just have some really great designs.

Wow, you have quite a collection! I love the variety.

Yes, I agree the "circulation cameo" , as I have seen it described,
certainly does add character to a coin.
