One of the rarest U.K. 50p coins is the 2009 Kew Gardens.
I would like to thank Ken for helping me to finally add one to my collection.
Thanks Ken ;D

Also received a couple of other coins too.

I would also like to thank Nancy for some coins she has sent me and more still coming.
Pics of these to follow later. Thanks Nancy. ;D

Congrats on the 50p coin!
Ken did a great job in getting it!

He sure did.
Now I am deeply in debt. :)

I have never seen one of those in circulation.
I have two of them, one I traded for and the second one I had to pay a friend a bounty for it.
One for Steve was purchased from Ebay.
Now I just to have find some of the older 2 pounds coins for Steve. Still waiting for some 2105 2 pound coins to show up in circulation since I don't even have them.

Not too many. You have done a great job helping me with these and the rest of the UK coins too.
Nancy has also helped me heaps, in fact I have pile on my desk now. :)

Some very nice oldies :)
I checked wikipedia on the 50p coins. ''Thanks'' to the Olympic issues in 2012 even just a type-set is a huge undertaking.
What baffled me the most however: Why the heck were only 210.000 ''Kew Gardens'' coins minted? That's an awfully low mintage. Or was the coin never supposed to be for ''circulation?''
