Nice coin. I think apart from Navaho, Welsh was another language that confused the heck out of the Germans (and probably everyone else too). :)

It's funny how the $1 coins never took off in the US and they still use paper money where here the government said paper money was gone and that was it we didn't have a say in the matter where the yanks just refuse to use it. Says something about the dictator ship we have out here :-\

Yes very nice.....i collect the Native American series in uncirculated condition and have this one from each mint.

So do the native americans have a flag like our natives. Just wondering as a couple of feathers doesn't really seem to indicate much and if you didn't say it was to represent the natives I'd be none the wiser and would have thought it must have been some sort of alliance between england and america going off the helmets.
