Thank you guys
Nobody felt it a good idea to visit me today so I am dining alone
having asparagus the flemish way
which is cooked with ground eggs and wallnut and melted butter
and as main course scampis with garlic butter and fried croquettes ( I do not know any english name for that )
and of course a bottle of good french Bordeaux
Since my white cocker spaniel died a couple of weeks back only the 2 years old chocolate cocker spaniel is celebrating with me

Sounds like you are having a really nice meal. Did you give the cocker spaniel some also? 8) 8)

I always share but she did not like the asparagus only the eggs in butter and the scampis in garlic ;)

I've got a half beagle, half unknown and she will eat just about any thing I will eat. I had some cooked cabbage the other night and she had to have some. I gave her a sweet pickle just so she would stop bumming me and I she ate it, She will eat carrots, loves any kind of candy, potato chips, just about any thing. ;D ;D ;D Of course she loves me most of all. 8) 8) 8) 8)

I have had 7 dogs of which 6 cocker spaniels
The cockers all loved eating tomatoes except the last two who spit it out
One was bought at age 4 from the breeder were I got 4 before because she was shutting down after her husband died and all unsold dogs were killed . At least I saved on of them. She died 3 weeks ago
The last one now age 3 was acquired in Hungary with an international breeding passport
She is lovely but hates tomatoes
If u want to buy a pedigree English Cocker Spaniel it looks like Hungary is the only place left because
the Belgians go only for dogs for competition what means they have 4 puppies a year and keep the best one
a Hungarian Breeder with international pedigree ing down

I like cocker spaniels but never had one. I always kept bull dogs. My last two were brother and sister, white pit bulls. They died about two years ago after a very long life of over 17 years. I was heart broken and done with dogs. The beagle was left by my neighbor when he went up north to find work. It sat on there porch for three days after they left. Then one day I was siting in my living room and she came walking in like she lived here (still had the dog door). She had dug under the fence and came in though my back yard. I put her out a couple of times but finely gave up. She has been here ever since. I tell folks she is not my dog I'm her man. ;D ;D ;D ;D
