Information from the place I obtained it from:
Isle of Man 2016 - Angel - Reverse Proof Silver Bullion
Following the success of the Gold Bullion Angel we are proud to issue a brand new Reverse Proof Silver Bullion Angel on behalf of the Isle of Man, adding another great product to the Pobjoy Bullion range.
This modern Angel, one of the World’s foremost bullion coins, continues to uphold this remarkable tradition by being the third design in the coin’s illustrious history since the first Angel was issued in 1984 by Pobjoy Mint.
The design for this legal tender reverse proof silver coin depicts a modern twist of the Angel St. Michael and the dragon with a frosted background. Approved by Buckingham Palace this coin carries an effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, Lord of Mann, by Ian Rank-Broadley FRBS which also features a frosted background.
Each coin is produced to the highest quality and has been struck four times to produce a stunning frosted-finish background with the design sculpted in striking relief. A truly special design in reverse proof with a limited mintage that makes it a rare and valuable collector’s coin.
The Angel was a gold coin originally introduced into England by Edward IV in 1465 as a new issue of the Noble. Based on a French coin, the Angelot or Ange, its name was derived from the representation of the Archangel St. Michael. A truly iconic coin the Angel, depicting an image of the Archangel Michael slaying the dragon, was thought to bring good luck and health and was traditionally given to sufferers of the disease the ‘King’s evil’ or scrofula, in a mediaeval ceremony intending to cure them with the ‘royal touch’.

Very nice. A little like the George and Dragon design, but without the horse. :)

I don't know if I like it or not. I wonder what the go is with the funny mark on his abdomen and the marks on his thighs.

It does look a bit like jean claude van damme gone a bit wrong, doesn't it?

Glade we got to view the coin but it's kind of odd for an angle. But then again what does an Angle look like anyways? 8)
