Title: Which way do we go.

When the castle almost crumbled TKO and myself managed to save it.    Software was updated and new features added, but you as members are not using these so do we get rid of them.

The first is the CHAT function.   Some are using it others are not.   I have tried on many occasions to CHAT but do not get a response.  When you logon start the CHAT function in case a members logs on and is happy to CHAT.    Or is this function a waste of time and we should get rid of it.    Another option to use is SKYPE.  A number of you have a SKYPE address so we could use this medium instead of CHAT.   Let us have your opinion.

The second feature we added was the KOTCT Auction Block.

Treasury Auctions    Treasury Donations Listings   

Member Auctions    Personal Auctions
   
Coins For $ale         Member to Member
                               "Classified Ad Sales"

Coins For Trade    Trades Only
   
Coins Wanted           Wish Lists
Seek an ye shall find
   
These can be Treasury Auctions with proceeds going to the KOTCT Treasury OR Personal Auctions with proceeds going to the seller.  No fees are levied by KOTCT.

We also have a section for Coins for Sale, Coins for Trade  and Coins Wanted.

Why are you not using this function.  The software cost $$$ to purchase and we thought members may use it to sell or trade the spares in collections to other members.   Also request coins (and other numismatic items)  they are looking for.
Again do we keep this function or do we remove it and just become a message board.

I look forward to reading some of your opinions.   If you do not want to go public then PM or email me.

How can we make the castle more than it is.....let me know please.

I like the chat function, but I've only used it a couple of times. But that is no surprise since I'm not much of a talker anyways. I kind of like all the different things we have on the forum. So I reckon the bigger question would be how much money difference are we talking about when we drop some of these things? I do think why a lot of activity is not being seen on the different things is we just don't have a lot of active members just now. As always I will be here to support our forum what ever you all decide.  :)

I think this hits the nail on the head. What can we do to bring more members in, to use these new features?

The cost of these features has already been paid out, only one may have a small fee for updates but not sure.

As for more members.....always looking but as you are aware people cannot just sign up and become a member (like many other forums). 

Our small group are very trustworthy and honest and I am always happy to trade with them.  I know I will not be taken for a ride.  Do not want Black Knights in our castle so we check them out before we approve.
Either another Knight vouchers for them or we do a search on internet to discover their history.

Just need more trading between us either buy auction, sales or trades.

Please Merlin don't start casting magic around the Castle  :o The last time  you did that I like to never got rid of that extra toe. :( Would not have been near so bad if you just hadn't put it on the side of my head.  ::) ::) ;D ;D
