Title: Mosts prized coin,token, currency
Post by: Pocketcoins on January 16, 2016, 02:05:16 AM
After viewing SirStacksALot's Continental Currency I got to wondering about just what is the most viable coin. currency  or token we each might have. But knowing that most collector's would not want to tell this, I thought about our most prized items. I have some items that are not really worth much dollar wise, but would not take anything for them. So lets talk about some of our most prized coins, currency and tokens. What have you got that you just would not part with?

I'll start; I have a $5 piece of coal company script from where my dad worked when I was born. It is worth maybe $10 to $20 but would not even price it to a collector, just in case he wanted it really badly.

When my dad was a lad, he found a penny in the creek at the bottom of his garden.
He kept that coin and passed it on to me a few years ago.
Not the best example of a George III penny, but priceless to me and I would never
part with it.

I thought I would post one of my other most favored coins.

This coin is silver, but I still would not put a price on it. It goes to my son who also served in the Corps, when I'm gone.

Thanks Sir George. If you get this coin for $15 you had better check it close. It is silver, but I have seen silver plated one's for sell.
Sorry I was not able to get up with you on your last trip.
