Didn't know how difficult it can be to get good pictures of coins...
Here are Canada's coins made for circulation in 2014:
 ---5 Cent
 ---10 Cent
 ---the regular Quarter
 ---Lucky Loonie 2014
 ---regular Loonoe 2014
---obverse of both Loonies (they have the same)

Taken with an old digital camera...

Here are the 2 Toonies -- the commemorative one and the regular one (obverse & reverse)

				Really beautiful.

				Lovely coins Ralf.
I agree that pics can be difficult, especially nice shiny coins.

				I see the lens
You would need at least two daylight sources at 120 degrees to get cartwheeling
Then you get to get farther away from the coin by getting screw on magnifying lenses
unless you have a 130mm lens or zoom

All my pictures are taken with a canon 8800 scanner

The very few coins it cannot handle are brilliant without contrast
So I tried Canon shooting them with a 18-55 zoom with two screw on lenses
and it took all afternoon for on coin one perfect shot

It's definitely my favourite (made for circulation) Toonie.
