Title: Orange $2 coin

So, there will be issued a new coloured $2 commemorative coin soon.
Pictures are already floating on the internet. Don't know whether they are accurate.

I wish our esteemed Australian members of the Castle good luck ''hunting'' them  ;)

I have heard mention of this coin in the Australian Coin Forum, but I won't be holding my breath.
Still haven't seen any of the last coloured $2 coin yet and haven't seen any 2015 coins at all. :(

Any that I do find though, I will make sure I hold some for you and other members here.

I have bitten the bullet and bought a pack from the R.A.M.
Postage is a killer, doubles the cost.

I also ordered a bag (5) of orange $2 Remembrance Coin plus a bag (5) Red Lest we forget coins.   That way postage is split over the 10 coins instead of 5.

I am still shocked by the high postage that Australians have to pay.

Perhaps the RAM should take a lesson from the RCM -- and I'm sure the RCM still makes money from it:

I think both RCM and RM both do coins at face value and include delivery to.

Considering that the RAM had a $4m loss last year, who knows what we'll be paying soon.

$10 postage for 5 coins, just a little excessive I think.

Folks are not happy with the RCM limiting orders to 1 set per household.

The RAM are limiting them to One Set of 5 per order, but you  can place more orders, but each order will require $10 postage.

I must be lucky....the monthly mailings that I get from the UK Royal Mint always seem to have a few shipping code for online orders which I use for small order which are under 45 pounds sterling since orders over that amount placed online they give free shipping as standard.

Last time I paid for shipping from the Royal Mint was back in 2013.

Well I was still waiting for the orange $2 I ordered and they never turned up, I thought I had made an error in my order.

SO I went and ordered again.  They are on the way to me and should be with me this week.  Will post on to all who have ordered after I receive them.  I ordered 5 Orange (Remembrance) coin and 5 Red (Lest we Forget) coin.

Then I found a copy of my original order so I rang the mint and was given some bullshit story about running out of stock.  Told them what I thought of this story and asked how come I am getting the coins I order 2 days before yet the ones I ordered 2 weeks before are held up.

Well next think I receieve an email stating that items have been posted.  SO this week I am expecting a 2 bags of each $2 coin.

If anyone else wants one of each coloured coin let me know.

Dear friends. How is it with colored 2 dollars ? They are in circulation in Australia ? I have from Mr.Steve one 2013 with purple ring and one  2016 with  purple ring. They are very nice coins and I like try to collect another.
