Two more 20 for 20 coins from Canada have arrived.
Superman and Bugs Bunny.
Also a 5 dollar Canadian flag stamp.
-
Nice....is the stamp a postage stamp?
-
Yes, that is a Canadian postage stamp.
Here is a link about the stamp - http://www.theglobeandmail.com/news/national/canada-post-fabric-stamp-celebrates-flags-50th-anniversary/article25190911/

Nice coins Ken, and nice stamp too. :)

These two designs are not liked very much here in Germany's coin collector community. In fact, several colleagues have dropped collecting the Canadian 20for20 series. They consider Superman and Bugs Bunny not ''Canadian Themes.'' Futhermore, they feel comic figures don't belong into this series.
The coins itself are rather nice though.

Superman was co-created by Joe Shuster, a Canadian american.
Bugs Bunny had an episode called Fresh Hare, which was situated in Canada.
So there is some link to Canada with both these coins.

I would call these links ''tenous'' at best. ;)
