I have just had an e-mail from Australia Post advising me that a package has been delivered to Erik.
This package was sent 3 1/2 months ago and we had both written it off as lost or stolen. I put in a
complaint with Australia Post about 4 weeks ago and never heard any more, then suddenly I get the
e-mail. Erik and I are over the moon, as there were coins in the package that I could not replace. ;D

as there were coins in the package that I could not replace. ;D
That's always my biggest worry when trading. Losing a shipment with coins I can't replace.
Happy to hear that you guys had luck and the package arrived after all. Small miracle after almost four month.
During the last ten, eleven years, six letters/packages which were sent to me got lost (out of approx. 400). The last one, just a few weeks ago. A letter from the USA.
Fortunately, and ''knock on wood, knock on wood'' everything I had mailed in this period did arrive.

Yes we are very happy :D :D :D We were sure that package was lost or stolen. I was very sadly because I didnt receive one package from USA a few months ago. I thought this package was stolen again. He was sent 12/6/2015 from Australia !!!! And he was in Germany too :-)
-
Yes, that package had gone through Germany.
The green label from German Customs service leads me to suspect that the package made its journey from Australia, at least partly, via surface/seamail. That would explain the time it took.
All regular airmail from and to Germany goes through customs at Frankfurt International Airport (excluding UPS, FedEx, DHL, ectr. They have special handling places). This package, however, went through Hamburg, Germany's largest seaport.

Thanks for that info Ralf.
That would certainly explain the delay. :)
I should hassle Australia Post for a refund of the difference,
but I just couldn't be bothered.

Yes but important is - I received nice coins from friend safely :D :D :D :D

I'm glad the package finally arrived. Pick your jaw up off the floor and get to taking some pictures!

One of my favorites! I love low mintage circulation coins!

I wonder how many of those actually made it into circulation. :)
Glad you like the coins Erik.
-
Yeah, I don't know. My roll went into the safety deposit box! ;D
Still, with only 1 Million minted, even if all of them are kept, it should hold a nice premium, considering they issued them at face value!

Matt, did you get any C.O.A.'s ? They were free, you just had to order them.

Here are coins what I received from Mr. Steve. I received more coins and here are only some of them. In fact they are more beautiful as on photos.

The Russian 10 Roubles were sent to me from Barry, but I already had them.
I therefore sent them on to Erik. So really the coins are from Barry as well.
