I saw this at the local pawn shop.  Thought it was too cool not to grab it!

That's a pretty cool medal. Do you know any history about it? Who made it, mintage, etc...

The image of the horseman is very reminiscent of our Aussie 1934/35 Commemorative Florin, except the flame is in the opposite hand.

I think it was made in the UK as a parody of a German medal.
