Title: Cruising on out of here.
Post by: Triggersmob on February 11, 2015, 10:49:57 AM
Just letting you all know, that my Wife and I will be on a cruise for the next 2 weeks.
I hope to be back in the castle on 28th Feb.
I will shut the castle gate on the way out. (please don't lock it behind me).  :)

We will be sailing around part of NZ and then back to Aus.
You can follow our travels on the Diamond Princess' bridgecam if you like.

See you in a couple of weeks and be good while I'm gone. :)

Enjoy.....have fun.....find a lot of coins.

Not too much drinking and eating ......do not need to go on a diet when you get back.

I already preempted that. I have been on a diet since Jan 5, I have lost 7.5kg.
I will go back on the diet when I return though.
Hopefully I can find lots of coins and banknotes too. The NZ dollars I got from the
post office didn't help much, all I got was $50 notes. I see NZ is getting new brighter
banknotes this year. Not sure when they are releasing them, but I'll keep my eyes open.

Here is the $50 I added to my collection...

OK, we are home from our cruise.
Didn't manage to add much to my collection.
The only coin I found that I didn't already have
was a 2005 $2 coin. I also managed to find some notes
in good condition, so I added $5, $10 and $20 notes.
Also picked up some Laundry Tokens from the ship.
The copper one gives you one wash or one dry and cost USD$3,
and the brass one gives you laundry powder and cost USD$1.50.
They both have the same design on them.
