Went out last week and purchased some bookshelves that were on sale, so one of them I devoted to my hobbies: coin, paper money, and stamp collecting. On the very top are my most recent world coin & paper money catalogs. Below these are all stamp collecting books or various catalogs from years gone by that I use for reference. On the bottom shelf are a few books on stamps, but mostly older coin & paper money catalogs that are also used for reference purposes. These are not ALL the coin & stamp books I own, but these are the ones I use mostly when working on my hobbies, right next to my desk and computer. Hope you like it!! :)

That's quite a collection. So admit it......you also collect books. That's a nice set up for reference.

That's a lot of reference books. I prefer to spend my money on the coins and stamps, but I do understand the need for proper reference books if you are going to specialise. ;D

That is a nice collection of books. My book collection usually outpaces the room on my bookshelf, and the time that I have to read them. I laughed when I seen this post, since I just had to buy another bookshelf a couple weeks ago. It's like a never ending cycle.

Yeah guys I guess you could say I'm a book collector as well!! I have dozens of boxes packed up with books in storage areas in my home that I have no room for on the shelves. Here is another new shelf I added last week and rearranged with my philosophy books. Eastern philosophy on the bottom shelf, Western philosophy above. :)

John, you forgot to tell them, that you collect Owls too. Hoot Hoot. ;D

Putting your books in a shelves! ??? What a novel ideal. ;D I thought the proper way to keeps all of our coin stuff was to just stack it up. That way no one knows what we have. My wife says the only reason snakes don't live in my office is that they are afraid to come into that mess. :o ;D ;D 8) 8)
