Looking forward to this release.  The dollar coin and half look really nice.

5 dollar gold coin design seems to be a bit busy for a 0.850 inch / 21.59 mm size coin.

Nice coins, but what about the Sheriff and the Deputy too?

I guess political correctness is alive in U S coinage. The half dollar shows a (modern day) woman on the obverse with a marshal and horse. IF this represents the Marshals' 225 years of service, why a woman? I'm not anti woman (Married-8 kids), but I guess we have to have a woman on the coin to show "equality". The other sad instance of "equality" was the U S Boy Scout coin where it shows a girl on the Boy Scout coin......and saluting with a common salute instead of the official Boy Scout salute. I wonder why a boy wasn't displayed on the Girl Scout coin when it came out......a year late.

And a committee wants to eliminate the handcuffs on the reverse of the Marshal coin? Horrors, we don't want to show that! Maybe a raw hide strap would be better.....we don't want to frighten anyone.
