The winter gods must have it in for all people in northern U S. Our 3 month average temp was 5.5 degrees, and our snowfall has "only" been 55.6 inches.....your 96 inches is unbelievable. Cheer up, the snow should be gone by .....May, .....June?

In the UK we got about 20 1/2 inches of rain between December 1 and February 24 and this was on top of more rainfall than normal for October and November. There is 2 miles of water in fields north of where we live that needs to flow 1 mile into the local river which sometimes actually is a dry riverbed. In our village there are still a few properties which are flooded and other homes which suffered damage from flooding.

I would give my right arm for some of that rain.
We have had about 4mm of rain the last 105 days. >:(

Only 4 mm? I have a plan. I could arrange to ship many tonnes of around 50 cm (20 inches) of snow down there. The moisture content of 50 cm of this snow is 5 cm (2 inches)....that should help somewhat. (Tonnes = Tons in English)

WELL--I SURE AM GLAD THAT THE WEATHER IS NORMAL AND THERE IS NO CLIMATE CHANGE AND I AM JUST IMAGINING THE SNOW DRIFTS AND FREEZING AIR AGAINST MY SKIN---SUMMER SHOULD BE A PIP................

I think maybe the world has tipped over a little. Northern U.S.A. is now the new north pole.

There has already been talk about dragging a large iceberg to Perth.
I don't think it will ever happen though.

Happy Spring to all people down under. It's Thursday there, Wednesday night here. Got 7.5" (19 cm) of snow yesterday and our expected low for Sunday is +3 F (-16 c) and for Monday through Wednesday is +9 F (-13 c). It's too bad that Perth might hit +32 c (88 F) today (Thur) with all of that sweating and no air conditioning, cars overheating, short tempers, and spoiled milk. Oh well, I remember those days....not likely here this year due to what I heard that spring and summer were cancelled for us this year. The reason? Global Cooling.

We're in Autumn (Fall) at present. Spring starts Sep 1.

Normal spring day here, temps around 69 and will most likely get to around 72 or 74. Light wind, sun shining. It did get down to around 49 or 50 last night. :o I hate to say much about the beautiful weather we are having here. I might get visitors. :o 8) 8) 8) ;D ;D ;D
