Title: Big Bushfire
Post by: Triggersmob on February 02, 2014, 09:58:59 PM
We had a bushfire burning nearby all day today.
Even now we have water bombers flying over.
The fire is a couple of kilometres away, but should
not threaten us. There is a big freeway between it and us.
Here's a view from our upstairs bedroom.

All good this morning. Looks like it never made it across the freeway.
Can't see any smoke today, but can still smell it.

You have a tile roof Steve.....your house won't burn. I'm also protected with 17 " (43 cm) of snow on my roof.

Plenty of wood holding the tiles up though, Cy.
That snow is certainly hanging around this year.

I just heard the Groundhog saw it's shadow, so that means another six weeks of winter for you.
