WELL WE GOT JUST WHAT THE WEATHERMAN PREDICTED AND THEN SOME-----ABOUT 14 INCHES OF SNOW WHICH IS STARTING TO BLOW AROUND AS THE ARCTIC COLD FRONT IS MOVING OVER US AND THE TEMPERATURE IS MOVNG DOWN FROM 21 DEGREES F.----TO 11 RIGHT NOW-------ON ITSW WAY TO 12 DEGREES F. BELOW O TONIGHT AND A HIGH TOMORROW AROUND 1 DEGREE F.
WHEN WARMER AIRPASSES OVER THE GREAT LAKES IT PICKS UP A LOT OF MOISTURE WHICH COMES DOWN IN THE FORM OF SNOW AND AS THE TEMPS DROP THE SNOW GETS LIGHTERAND THE WINDS PICK UP AND THE DRIFTS CAUSE THE PROBLEMS..................LOOKS LIKE A GREAT DAY FOR HOMEMADE SOUP AND COIN INVENTORIES...................STAY WARM OR COOL WHERE EVER YOU ARE..............

Today was 39C and by the end of the week we are expecting 40C or more.

Joe I sure wish you would keep your weather up north where it belongs :( Last night at 10p.m. it was 55 degrease. This morning at 7a.m. it was 19 degrease. :o That's a 36 degrease different in just 9 hours. :o And it's supposed to keep dropping all day.

We can use some of that heat Steve. It's a;most 11 am (Mon) here (4 am in Sydney / 1 am in Perth on Tue) and our high today is expected to be -18 F (-27 C). Tomorrow's (Tue) low is expected to be -28 F (-33 C). And as Joe mentioned, it's a good time to work on coins. I went through some last night and wondered, "Where did this one come from? I have this? Nice. Why so many of these?" And the wondering will continue.

ICE FISHING IS QUITE A MONEY MAKER FOR THE STATE---ON SOME LAKES THERE ARE DOZENS AND DOZENS OF ICE SHANTIES THAT LOOK LIKE OUT HOUSES AND YOU CAN LEAVE THEM THERE ALL WINTER BUT YOU MUST HAVE YOUR NAME AND ADDRESS ON THEM---"GRUMPY OLD MEN" WITH WALTER MATTHAI IS A FILM YOU SHOULD RENT --IT IS SET IN MINNESOTA AND ICE FISHING IS A PART OF IT------------SOME OF THESE SHANTIES ARE VERY COMFORTABLE INSIDE WITH T.V. A GENERATOR FOR LIGHTS AND HEAT-----RENT THE MOVIE -----------I GUARANTEE YOU WILL LOVE IT

Templar you need to learn to take all things in moderation. :) A couple nights ago it was 2 below 0 :o here and today it will be 40 to 45 :)and looking for 60 by Saturday ;D . All things in moderation. ;D ;D ;D

Not venturing outside today if I can help it.
Fortunately the humidity is only 15%,
so not even sweating at the moment.

No, 46.2C is our hottest day.
Sleeping was terrible last night.
Felt like I was lying in a puddle. >:(

Not surprising it was a yucky night.
Just found out it was the hottest ever, at 29.7C.
The max today did not reach the forecast temp of 41c,
but did reach 39.7C at 9.30am this morning.

Going down to -5 F (-21 C) Friday morning. It's nice and cool here....no flies or mosquitos, and I sleep quite well at night. How ya-all doing in Aussie land?

Quite nice here in the west. Maximum now about 26C. Even had a drop of rain last night.
The very hot weather has now moved east. I believe it might be about 46C in Adelaide today.
Getting hot here again this weekend though, temps expected to be 38C Saturday and Sunday.
