Well it is 10:30PM here in Brisbane Australia so 1 1/2 hours to 2014.

Enjoy your Thursday today (Still Wednesday in the U S) because the expected high temperature in Sydney today should be around + 30 C (88 F). That's cool compared to Jan 1, 1939 when the temperature hit +45 C (113 F) in Sydney. Here? Just -20 C (-4 F) around noon Wed., 1-1-14. Have a good 'back to work' day.
