There has been a series of TV programs lately on the killing of JFK.
One program that I watched showed that two different bullets were used.
The first bullet that hit JFK and also went through the Governor, stayed intact.
The second bullet that hit JFK in the head, was a hollow point that exploded on contact.
They also showed that it would be nearly impossible to get three shots off in six seconds.
They gave the challenge to a top marksman, and he could only just do it, after 3 attempts.
It seems that one of JFK's bodyguards, in the second vehicle, may have accidentally discharged
his weapon and struck JFK. This guy should not of had a weapon, but all the rest of the bodyguards
had been drinking all the previous night. This is why there was such a massive cover up and the all
evidence disappeared. Maybe we will never know for sure.

I've read 2 or 3 books on the topic, and I'll never believe it was just one lone nut.

I really think all the agency's involved, from the Secret Serves down to the local police would like us to think it was some kind of big conspiracy. ::) How else you going to explain how one man takes a rifle and kills the most protected man in the world. :( I think a bunch of folks just dropped the ball that day and that's all there was to it. I do remember when it happened my mother was convinced that the Russian's did it and were coming for us next. ???
