Well folks it's that time of year again for the Wayne Coin Club show to happen. (Whew! Be glad when this one's over with! ;D) The Templar is getting his own table this year, and we have some awesome prizes for the raffle winners. I will post some pictures from the show here so please check back in the next few days & we'll let you know how things went! 8)

We have the ANDA coin show on this weekend in Perth.
I will not attend though. They charge $10 entry fee
so that I can go in and spend money. I think that is wrong.
Glad to see your show is free, as it should be. ;D
Look forward to seeing the pics.

NO COIN SHOW should charge admittance. I attend coin shows from 30 tables to 120 tables and none of them charge. There is a very large one in Chicago (actually a suburb N W of Chicago-Rosemount) that charges $5 for a 3 day pass...that's not so bad.

I HAVE GONE TO MANY SHOWS IN MICHIGAN AND THERE HAVE BEEN NO CHARGE----AND I DON'T THINK THERE SHOULD BE----THE MORE YOU PAY AT THE DOOR--THE LESS YOU HAVE TO SPEND INSIDE----------------------
I am getting a table and my wife is helping me set up because the foot doctoe would not let me remove the boot i am wearing...........will let you knoe how i do

Well I guess Templar did ok (his wife did most of the work! LOL!!) and gold and silver was FLYING out the door!! Dealers were running out of the precious metals really fast today! Interesting. :)
-
Some decent raffle prizes :)
-
And a good crowd, especially in the first few hours, made for a really great show this year!! Thank God it's OVER!! :)
-
Picked up these notes today from Cuba, Korea, and Czechoslovakia :)
-
Also found a nice set of Mexican 1, 5, and 10 Peso notes in excellent condition. ;D
-
And this nice check dated July 2, 1878 from the First National Bank of Cooperstown, New York ;D

THE COIN SHOW WAS VERY GOOD AND MY TABLE ENDED UP RIGHT WHERE YOU CAME IN SO I GOT THE BUYERS FIRST----LOTS OF INTEREST BUT I SOLD MOSTLY FOREIGN CURRENCY AND COIN AND THE VALUES AREN'T AS HIGH-----BUT I DID MAKE A LITTLE OVER $1000.00 AFTER EXPENCES AND I DID NOT GET A CHANCE TO BUY ANYTHING BUT I WON ONE OF THE DOOR PRIZES.....THE PRICE ON THE ENVELOPE IS NOT THE VALUE....ALL THE COINSABOVE THE CENT AND NICKEL ARE SILVER......

Impressive
I never had the chance of going to a coin show
but once in my life I went to a post stamp collector meeting ???
-
PYW, in the area that Templar & I live, you can go to a coin show almost every week end!! Gets to be a little too much sometimes!! :)
-
AS NIGHTHAWK SAID THERE ARE SHOWS AROUND HERE EVERY WEEK END---YHIS WEEK END THERE IS ONE ON SATURDAY AND ONE ON SUNDAY---BUT YOU BEGIN TO SEE THE SAME DEALERS OVER AND OVER SO YOUR SELECTION GOES DOWN......BUT IN APRIL WE HAVE A 3 DAY STATE SHOW AND DEALERS COME FROM ALL AROUND INCLUDING CANADA--SO YOU HAVE PLENTY OF VARIETY..
