Hello all

Want to share my latest purchase with you all

1917s, 1943 and 1943D WL Halves

I am trying to complete a Franklin half dollar set right now and was intending to start a WL set after i complete it, but it seems that i am not sticking to the plan  :)

Thanks for sharing what I feel is the one of best designed US coins.

All the best with your endeavour of collecting US coins.

Do you have an American Eagle Silver dollar yet?

Ken

These are the only 2 WL that I have.
Well worn, but at least I have some.

Notice on even the worn ones have a nice character to them.

For some reason the reverse of the 1917 one attracts my attention quicker than the others.

I much prefer a well worn coin over an uncirculated.
So much more character. :)

Steve, are you going to pick up any Fiji coins when you're there........IF there are any coin shops there. Heck, there are about 1 million people there now in Fiji.....on about 320 islands. Don't get lost.

We don't have a lot of time free in each port, but I will be doing my best to collect as many of the old and new coins.
I hear there is some bad weather if NSW at the moment. I hope it clears up before you fly in. Enjoy your cruise, Goose.
