Just got the Thunderbolt plans. Funny how I get mail from
Canada faster than from within the U.S. But get this.
When I bought them it said the plans called for a .23 engine
which didn't make sense for 31 inch wingspan. But when
I looked at the plans it has a wiring diagram for the engine iginition.
LOL These plans were drawn in 1946 by a former P-47 pilot.
The plans show wires going from the engine to a booster
box, whatever that was, to a coil and then a battery
under the cockpit. So without all that crap it might go
like a rocket on a .15. They're nice clean well drawn
plans. I actually think I can BS my way though this and
mooch a .15 moter from my father. He's got about a
1,000 airplane engines.

I AM SURE YOU HAVE TAKEN IN THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN CANADIAN AND AMERICAN MEASURING ...........GOOD LUCK--AND I GUESS WE WOUN'T HERE FROM YOU FOR AWHILE----COULD YOU SHOW US A COPY OF THE PLANS BEFORE YOU TEAR THEM TO PIECES IN AN UNCONTROLLED RAGE--LOL?

I tried uploading images before from this phone. I don't
think it does that. In fact it has enough trouble just fogging
a mirror. Too bad, you guys would get a kick out of this
ignition diagram.
Tear up the plans in a fit of rage? Is that why TKO said
to get six copies made? :D
