TODAY MARKS THE FIRST DAY OF AUTUMN IN THE NORTHERN HEMISPHERE---IT TAKES PLACE ACCORDING TO THE SCIENTISTS SOMETIME THIS LATE MORNING----IT IS 46 DEGREES F. AND LIGHT RAIN RIGHT NOW....

Downunder we line up our seasons with the beginning of a month to make life easier.

Summer - 1st Dec to 28th Feb
Autumn - 1st Mar to 31st May
Winter - 1st Jun to 31st Aug
Spring - 1st Sep to 30th Nov

With the change in the weather patterns lately I think we could move
the start of each season forward one month i.e. Summer would start Jan 1st.
