Title: internet providers
Post by: RgGoodie on September 08, 2012, 11:22:56 PM
This knight has been missing in action due to internet providers.
I had one provider and changed to another  the first provider had somehow managed to block my emails and I could not retain my password from this forum.
The new provider  has  some major technical issues. I have  repair people here about twice a month and they still can not figure why my internet and phone goes out every time it rains  - I live where it rains almost every day.

I finally retrieved my password this morning and hope to again be able to lurk and participate on the forum.
So hello to those to those who don't know me and  Greetings to those who missed me.

I haen't purchased any coins lately, but I am trying to keep up with the world of numismatics especially those wonderful dark side coinf from Australia.

P.S. Thanks to nevol fo helping me get back into the forum

Comcast it is
They were late for the appointment again and that got me another $20 rebate off of my bill and when the guy showed up he said the problem was the previous installed did not put the proper ends on the cables and they were shorting out.
Now only time will tell.

so far
I have used Dish, direct TV
Uverse (ATT) now Xfinity (Comcast)
Living in a subtropical wet rainy climate is just not good for TV  phones and internet :'(
I may go back to have a town crier and drums.
That is why my COINS are in a temperature controlled sage in a temperature controlled room!  ;D

Well hopefully They got it fixed this time.....They never did figure my problem out,It just stopped acting goofy on its own, thank goodness!!!

If you dont mind my asking,What didnt you like about Directv,I switched from comcast about 2 years ago and For me,I think Directv is more dependable than Comcast....Although I still use Comcast for internet

Direct TV was good but I live in "Sunny" south Florida, where during many parts of the year it rains daily.
with dish and Direct TV we would lose picture  and sound due to the cloud cover.

That did not occur with AT&T or Comcast.
