Title: Hey Everyone!
Post by: longnine009 on April 07, 2011, 03:19:46 AM
Gene, August, everyone how's it going! I'm on vacation so I thought I'd wait for awhile to get online at the library. Not doing too much. I'm finishing up a book about Hitler-"The pathology of Evil." Man, that guy was beyond  nuts. Then I'm going to read The Art of Contrary Thinking. I don't know why. I applied Contrary thinking to silver when I stopped buying it at $11. Good move huh?   ;D

And of course I didn't win the 218 million dollar Powerball last night. Maybe I should ask Ben  to monetize my tickets?  ;D

Greetings there old friend.  It's been a long time and you have been missed by one and all. You say your going to read 'the art of contrairy thinking', can't immagine why you would want to do this at your stage of life.
That is the one subject that I have perfected, if I say so myself. Keeps you on your toes... ::)

Just checked and yes it has broken through the $40 barrier. Currently at $40.23.
Now I just need the Aussie dollar to drop again.

There's a coin show this Sunday and I haven't been to one in 6 or 7 years. And the gubment looks like it 's  going to shut down. So I think I'll commerate the occasion by trying to find a store card counter-stamped on a federal coin. But wait I can celebrate even before that. There's Cheeseburgers in Paradise across the street, and Schnapps, Cheese Fix Munchies, and Saturday Night Live 1978-79 on DVD at  home.  :o

It's good hearing from some of the Knights in the Castle. I'll probably be back next week, hopefully with a good coin show report. I'll still be on vacation and there's no waiting list at all if you come in late enough.  ;D

I read it back in the 80's. But I stopped buying silver at $11 because it seemed like everyone was talking it up way too much. In fact I bought my last two ounces from Sir Nohope. I think they were CSA bars. I was  sure silver was going to  drop. It did, after it went to about 21 first--Homer Simpson Doh! So I ordered Art of Contrary Thinking  from Barnes and Nobles because I think  Maybe I missed something important the first time when I read it.  ::)

Thanks Terry. I'll be back again after the coin show. It's a good thing I double checked the date. It wasn't last Sunday but this Sunday coming up--oh yeah that would have been a really  big Homer Simps

Has anything been kicked around yet about a 2011 KOTCT medal? I guess the high price of silver is going to be an issue  :(

I was watching some Saturday Live last night. Dan Aykroyd was doing Jimmy Carter talking about inflation. He said we should make inflation our friend. That just think with enough inflation we can all be millionaires.
