Hi all,

I have this coin and its rim seems to be discontinued at its obverse just below its "S" mark

at the same area but on the reverse the rim seems to be more rough, as if a part has been detached leaving a rough area... ???

Is any of these an error?
If yes does it affect the coin value?

Thanks

IF THEY ARE ERROR COINS SOMEONE WILL ALWAYS PAY A LOT MORE FOR THEM....
GET A SECOND OPINION...I WOULD BE JUST GUESSING....BUT IT IS NICE LOOKING FOR 1944

Unfortunately looks like post mint someone messing around with coin on slow day type stuff, then coin circulates for awhile and the circulation covers up all the evidence.
