POLICE PULLED AN 83 YEAR OLD WOMAN OVER FOR SPEEDING.....HER ANSWER TO THE OFFICER AS TO WHY SHE WAS DRIVING SO FAST WAS " I WANTED TO GET THERE BEFORE I FORGOT WHERE I WAS GOING"..........RESULT---NO TICKET ::) ::) ::)

A guy in W.A. just came up with a way to beat the speed camera. He has been caught speeding 8 times but never
had to pay the fine, because he just ask the cops for a letter, stating that there cameras have been tested annually
by the department of weights and measures as is the legal requirement. So far they have not been able to produce such.
I also found a way to beat the cameras, DON'T SPEED. DOH!

I wonder if I'll be able to remember to use that excuse when I'm 85. ::) :o ;)
The way my memory is going, by the time I am 85, I won't even remember that I'm 85! ;D

I personally believe that the rate of travel (to me the word 'speed' doesn't exist) on a road is set for the incompetent driver. I drive a lot for pleasure ... 30K miles/yr (48K km/yr) and for 2 score yrs now, I believe that the rate of travel limits on roads are set mostly for revenue from the 'law breaker'.
