My latest Ford. In fact we have two. One for the Wife and one my Daughter.
I get the Wife's cast off, Mitsubishi Colt 2005.

I get better mileage though. 14km to the litre, and it's faster.

I bought a new F150 Super-Crew cab XLT the other day trying to help you folks out up there. Doc says I can go ahead and get my driving licence back after 10 long years. I reckon I'll be helping them oil & gas  boys out in Texas also.  ;D

Two problems I have with your photos Steve........ in the photo at the top, the steering wheel is on the wrong side, and in the picture below, may I ask, who parked the car, you or your wife? LOL   ;D  LOL   ;D

Steering wheel is on the correct side for us. LOL
These are photos I found on the net, not out actual vehicles.
I noticed the poor parking too.

Yas, Ford Explorer? What yr and engine? I just sold my 2002 Explorer (best car I ever had) with 200K miles and a 5 speed stick on it to a daughter. The engine is a 245 C I with a SOHC 6 cylinder. In the 8 yrs I had it, I was 106 wins and 5 losses in dragging at stop lights. Because I changed oil (I CHANGED IT!) every 2000 miles +/-, it never used oil. But, now I have a Nissan, again a 245 C I engine & DOHC, but now with a 6 speed stick tranny. It's fast. (By the way, I'm older than 96% of the people on this site.) Zoom-Zoom!

I have a:
  • Ford Explorer - Biggest heap of cr*p I've ever owned.
As a spare parts person I can tell you, in the trade they are called Ford Exploders.
Be careful, as some of these models are prone to having ball joint fall out.

Goose, I pretty sure these Explorers have the same engine as our Falcons, a 4.0 6 cyl.[/list]

Templar, I'm sure most everyone wishes they retained a car that they used to own....I do.
Steve, I'm not a 'motor-head', but I've always worked on my own cars. I think in 2002 (or '01) was the 1st year that the 245 C I engine with a SOHC (single overhead cam) came out...I'm not sure though. To me, to install a 210 HP SOHC engine in a Falcon....I really dont know. That engine red-lined at 6K RPM, the Nissan I have (261 H P - DOHC) red lines at 7000k RPM...and I 'might' have abused red-lining a few times.

It might be odd, but following are my favorite hobbies:
Driving
Goose Hunting
Coin Collecting
Metal Detecting
Eating Ribs or Pizza (How the heck did this get listed? I guess I'm hungry.)
