Not this weekend but next, I am off to Long Island with my girlfriend for 3 nights. Going to take a leisurely drive through the Hamptons (like to see how the other half live) to the Montauk Point Lighthouse. Also going to visit Sagamore Hill NHS. I'm a big fan of Teddy Roosevelt. In mid June I’ll be on a road trip that will bring me up your way Templar. Going to visit Traverse City then on to Mackinac Island. Good luck with your coin quest Templar and hope everyone else can find some time to get away.

No big plans this weekend. Although, thanks to John (Nighthawk), I have a heap of coins and banknotes to sort out on Saturday and then back to work on Sunday. Good luck with the cooking and coin hunting Joe.

Air conditioner - Michigan? Wha? I bought a new house last year that has air conditioning. When I got back from un-air conditioned and very hot like 28'C Ukraine, Michigan felt so good. We did run A/C once to make sure it really works and it does, otherwise I don't use it. Our old house was built pre-air conditioning days and we ran fans. But I think it gets hotter down in Templar country - y'alls have different weather down your way.

A GOOD ATTIC FAN IS GREAT.......WE LIVED IN SAN ANTONIO,TEXAS IN THE 50'S AND 60'S AND MY FATHER WOULD CRACK THE WINDOWS ABOUT 4 INCHES.......GO OUTSIDE AT SUNDOWN, WATER THE BUSHES DOWN REAL GOOD, TURN ON THE LARGE ATTIC FAN AND IT WOULD PULL AIR THROUGH THE WINDOWS AND YOU WOULD SLEEP LIKE A BABY......WHICH WAS GREAT EXCEPT FOR THE WET PANTS.......

Next weekend my wife and I are going to spend 3 days in Sydney. As I only get the last weekend of the month off, we like to spend some time together doing something different. We'd hoped to see Cats, but it was booked out. My son works in marketing at one of the big Sydney radio stations, so he's going to see what freebies are available for Saturday. I think we'll do the harbour cruise again on the Sunday.

This weekend my wife & daughter are away in Shipshawana Indiana with some other ladies from the Church, so I am a batchelor till late Saturday night! Will be having breakfast tomorrow morning at Frank's with Mr. & Mrs. Templar. Next weekend we get to keep our precious granddaughter Samara from Friday till the following Monday for our Memorial Day holiday so my son & his wife can spend some much needed time alone together on a small island up in northern Michigan. Can hardly wait!!! :)
