Nothing fancy, but I came on here today and there was no new coin topics, so I thought I'd start one.

Nice coins Steve! I just purchased some cool stuff last night at coin club, but don't have the time right now to scan them. Have to be at work soon. :( Maybe tomorrow or Friday. Promise. :)

I haven't had time for pictures recently, but my latest acquisitons were Australian sixpence 1942 and shilling 1963, Iceland 1 Krona 1925 and a Canadian cent 1859 :)

What's a 4 doubles?

Steve, according to their monetary system from back then, 8 Doubles = 1 Penny in value. So 4 Doubles = a Half Penny, and 2 Doubles must have equaled a Farthing. 1 Double must have been 1/2 Farthing??? ???

Canada 50 Cents 1937 KM# 36 Mintage on this coin was only 192,016. I got it for melt! ;D
