Title: Chilean Mint's great addition to coin collecting.
Post by: RenaL on February 14, 2010, 10:22:05 PM
Have you heard the interesting news; Chilean Mint misspells the word "CHILE" :)

50 Peso coins released in 2008 bear the inscription "Republica De Chiie"

I had heard of the error but had not seen it so I thank you Renal for the photo! Now we got to figure out how to get our hands on one of those as they have probably gone through the roof? :o

I get it that they aren't so rare (yet), and they will be kept in circulation.
