What's your favourite Pie, continued from 2009 Medallion orders placed so far: ::) ;D
Lets start again here folks, that way we're not hi-jacking the Medallion Orders thread.
Steak & Mushroom with mushy peas & Holbrook's Worcestershire Sauce. ;D The only way to PIE! :D

I never met a pie I wouldn't eat. But I'm just not so fond of mushy peas. >.>
As for dessert pies... Cherry, Apple, Lemon, Pecan, Chocolate, Coconut.
-
Yes, a cherry-apple-lemon-pecan-chocolate-coconut pie sounds good to me!!! Hold the mushy peas please! :)

New York cheese cake. Sorry, no one can beat them when it comes to cheese cake or hot dogs.
-
NEW YORK CHEESE CAKE WAYS A TON--YOU CAN BARELY LIFT A FORKFUL---BUT IT IS GREAT
NOW HOT DOGS---THAT IS A DIFFERENT STORY---COME TO DETROIT AND ORDER A CONEY---ITS A NATURAL SKIN HOT DOG ON A BUN WITH CHILE SAUCE---ONIONS AND MUSTARD-----AND NOBODY MAKES IT BETTER----AND THE CONEY DOG ORIGINATED HERE WITH THE SMALL GREEK DINERS

I just remembered that Monaco had some great hot dogs too. I think I ate about a dozen of while everyone else was busying losing their paychecks in a casino. At least I gained something that day. :D

My favourite would be Shepherd's Pie. Love it.

For sweet I like apple crumble with ice cream or custard. Yum

I've been watching the series "Dexter" on TV lately and in some of the episodes, he has been searching for the perfect Key Lime Pie.
It looks nice and I think I might have a go at making one. One problem, no Key Limes in Perth. Will have to substitute.

I miss my lunches from Four and Twenty. Nobody makes meat pies like the Aussies.
Now, for dessert, I'd head back to Pennsylvania Dutch country for some shoo fly pie. It'd be worth the 16 hour round trip!
Here's one commercial bakery, but we usually just buy them from the Amish roadside stands.

It is 1.26 pm now
Tuesday my wife has first choice and it is spitroasted chicken with potatoes baked in chicken fat and curry sauce :)
Sunday and monday we had oven baked sheepleg ( gigot d'agneau) with garlic inserted and on a bed
of potatoes diced mixed with onions sliced and lots of nutmeg over it .
In Belgium pies are stricktly after dinner sweets and my favourate is apfelstrudel ( apple pie hot ) with icecream around it
and whipped cream over it ;D Since I have finished my "chicken" I have no longer problems writing about food :D
