Amongst a great collection of coins and banknotes sent to me by Nighthawk as a trade swap was a Department of the Treasury 1789 Token.
Have been trying to find some info, but can't find any on this particular one.
This token has the coat of armour with scales and key on both sides of the token. I can only find mention of ones that have the mint building on one side.
Would appreciate any info anyone can supply. Thanks!

Is this the medal you speak of Anna? In a group of coins I picked up awhile back, there was an old album put out by, I think, the Franklin Mint, and was made for a collection of Presidential medals, which included this Dept of Treasury medal. It was the ONLY medal the gentleman had in the album. I guess he never got around to collecting the other medals? It seems to be pewter, a little larger than a U.S. half dollar. Don't really know what it's worth. Kinda cool though. Thought you'd like it Anna!!! :)

Yep - that's the one. Thanks! Hadn't thought of the Franklin Mint - will check out their website.
I was trying to change the title of the above post to 'The Department of Treasury 1789 and other tokens etc' as there were other items I was going to ask about as well, but had but no option to do so. Meanwhile, I have misplaced the tokens etc I was going to try scanning.
Meanwhile, the Eisenhower ?wooden dollar (blue and silver) ...... any info on where that was from?
