Title: 1 Real of Phillip II (1556-1598)

A little beauty I picked up at the Houston Money Show.

This is a rainbow toned (nicer than shows in the pic, darnit), doublestruck, XF 1 real piece from Mexico struck under the authority of Phillip II King of Spain.  It's a nice addition to my slowly growing collection of these cob pieces. :D

I got a great bargain on the above cob.  I only paid a dollar for it!  Of course, the dollar I paid was This Dollar:

(agreed price of exchange was slightly over $200.  >.>)

Sorry Miss Kitty. The cob coin is nice, real nice, but I don't think I could have traded away that Chinese dollar for it! That's a beautiful coin also. Not trying to be mean, just my opinion that's all! That cob is a great looking coin no matter what you traded it for!!!  ;D
