My Fair Lady
Oliver Twist
The Rocky Horror Picture Show
Chitty chitty bang bang
The Barbara Streisand films
In 1986 the filmseries of four films Mistrals Daughter was made and I bought the LP by Nana Mouskouri for the song Only Love at the time .It was the last LP I bougth since the vendor rediculized me that I did not have a CD player yet .
Today I got the film series 4x90 minutes and I watched the first installment . It is still as good as I remember. And what is better ; apart from the music I forgot the whole plot since I have an audible memory . So the film is "brandnew" to me apart from the music score

I love all of those mentioned. I only (relatively) recently saw the Rocky Horror stage play. Loved it!
I also like Grease and the Al Jolson movie (the orginal)
-
I really enjoyed Grease, it's the only movie I have been to see twice.

I don't know about that little shop of horrors ; does not ring a bell
and I am kind of grounded since I used allready 50 gigabyte of my monthly allocation of 70
I have been trying to find a musical film I saw a long time ago ; problem is I forgot who the lead singer actress is . I only remember it starts in a small town with a girl sweeping a greengrocers store . Might have been Barbara Streisand or Liza Minelli or whomever from that period .

Undoubtedly, Nana Mouslouri's singing is some of the best. Besides Music Man, The Sound of Music really was one of the greats.

<3 Gene Kelly.
Singing in the Rain and American in Paris have to be two of my favourites, and On the Town is a close third.

The Csardafursin
Graefin Maritsa

HELLO DOLLY----LOUIS ARMSTRONG IS THE ICING ON A GREAT MOVIE!
TEMPLAR
I saw Hello Dolly in a movie theater when it was launched and loved it
Now I have it on DVD but it lost luster with my aging
Another one I liked very much was New York ( and the seven hoods ) with
Sammy Davis Jr . I wonder how I will like it when I see it now .

sometimes its better to remember something than to go back and try to recapture the excitement you first felt---time alters our tastes and our memories

It is the true test though of "quality"
Black and white Hign Noon is still the exciting western I remember when I saw it back a few month ago.
And I just remembered I saw Barbarella with Jane Fonda 5 times or so and I am still thrilled ( I have it on tape )
