Title: Roman coin, real or fake?

A friend of mine just came back from England. She visited Bath and bought this coin for me.
I'm concerned about the letters stamped in to it, so I was wondering if it is real or fake.
It almost sounds plastic when you drop it on the table top, but it weighs heavier than plastic.
Weight is 12.44g, diameter is 28mm.

I have no idea about ancient coins (or modern ones for that matter) so any info would be appreciated.

Sorry, but it's a fake. And it's not really trying to pretend otherwise, either. "WRL" are the initials for Westair Reproductions Limited, whose reproduction ancient and mediaeval coins can be found for sale at many history-themed tourist traps in Britain.

They're usually sold in little folders clearly labelling them as reproductions, and including a bit of history about the genuine coins.

Sorry Triggersmob.  Would have been nice if it were real.  I have a few Roman coins -- very few --and they are most interesting.  We were at Bath a few summers back, but I don't remember the "coins" being for sale.
