Title: OldDan says hi.

I was a bit concerned that I hadn't seen OldDan posting here for a while, so I sent him an e-mail to see what was up.

He said to say hi to everyone. This is a copy of his reply (I hope he doesn't mind me sharing it with everyone).

You might say, I ran away from home ( the funny farm, I call it) and took to the hills. It took two atempts to do it right as the first time I forgot my oxygen concentrator and had to return to town and 'pumped up' so to speak.
My next attempt to get away was more successful and now I'm spending my days sitting by the old fishing stream and taking short naps when and where ever I want. I spend the evening sitting on the front forch with the cat in my lap and the old dow laying at my feet. Drinking beer and listening to the night owls hooping it up down in the meadow. What more could anyone want. I plan on sitting right here until the first snow flake falls this winter and hope no one notices that I havent returned to town.
I promise that I'll stop by the old castle the next time I'm out and around..so until then take it easy and say hello to the other knights for me.

Sure glad you checked on him.  I've been wondering about him, as well as a few others who have fallen silent in recent weeks.

         I DON'T KNOW OL'DAN---BUT I SURE WOULD LIKE TO SIT ON THE PORCH---DRINK BEER AND LISTEN TO SOME OF HIS LIFE'S STORIES----AGE HAS A WAY OF ADDING COLOR AND HUMOR TO MANY OF OUR EXPERIANCES--TO BAD THE YOUTH DON'T LISTEN TO THE FREE WISDOM WHEN IT COMES SO CHEAP!

Sounds like he's enjoying himself!!!
