Post by: Paint Your Wagon on May 25, 2009, 03:08:30 AM
http://cgi.benl.ebay.be/USA-PURE-GOLD-MEDAL-INDEPENDANCE-1976-SCARCE_W0QQitemZ260413564958QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_123?hash=item3ca1dba81e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14&_trkparms=66%3A2|65%3A10|39%3A1|240%3A1318|301%3A0|293%3A1|294%3A50

I could not find weight nor purity nor anything and it looks to me like one of those 1 gram 0.5 purity things

Perhaps it was a part of the three piece set this other person is trying to find out about:

I saw that set several times webcrawling ( seem to remember the set is all of 19$ worth )
It has the eagle with arrows on the reverse side and not the people around the table
I think it is one of those smallest coins of the world reproductions at 0.5 gram and 0.5 gold worth 2$ so I decided not to bid .

Found back one of the links ( I save every link but with a thousand saved I get into retrieving problems )
