Post by: Eringobraugh on March 08, 2009, 06:07:53 AM
I recently bought this 1904 Louisiana purchase Medal,it Shows Napoleon and Jefferson on the obverse and a map of the purchase on the reverse..

When i bought it there was no mention of what metal was used to make this, but now that I see it closer,it looks silver

Acc'd to sources, it's the minimum size for a so-called dollar, being 1 5/16" or 33mm.
