Title: Artical in Coin World about one of our Members
Post by: Tpatna on February 25, 2009, 03:59:15 PM
Did anyone read the artical in "Coinworld" about our very own member "Daniel Carr" on his Press and all the neat coins he found in it?  Very good and interesting read.

Was this already talked about or am I the only one who noticed it?  The artical was about how
Daniel Carr found blank planchets and struck peices that slipped inside the inner workings of the press.

I beleave this is the same press he used to strike our "2008 Medallions".  It has pictures of the press and some of the unexspected bonuses he found.

This was in the Feb 23rd issue on page 60.

The article was mentioned in another topic. Makes me wish I still got Coinworld.

I read the article today at my downtown library. Very nice -- three pages, lots of photos.
