Are there any coins with turkeys on them?

Most of the coins with politicians on them seem to show more of a resemblence
to 'turkeys'  than the 'polly' in question.
However that's just my opinion ;D ;D

There's always the ones with a country that's named "Turkey" on them but apart from that I'm clueless...Google doesn't do much to help either  :-\

Several French coins, notably the 20 FF in gold had roosters on them.  I believe the 10FF coin during the 1950's also had a rooster.

Ben Franklin never like the eagle in the first place and wanted to make the wild turkey the national birdie.

My wife owns one of the French rooster coins.  That's about as close to a turkey on coins that I've seen.

 :) :) :) :)

According to this list, there isn't any coin with the turkey on it.  Time to write a letter to Congress asking for a series of 50 Turkey quarters.  :D

According to Don's Coin World this is a
5 Centims from Andorra, depicting a male Turkey.
The link that Topher provided states this is a Capercaille,
a member of the Grouse family. You make up your own mind.

I'd go along with Wood Grouse, but it might be the closest thing to a Turkey on a coin.  ::)

Other coins listed with Capercaille:
Finland   10 markkaa
Poland   100 Zl
Spain   2000 pta

Other coins listed with Grouse
Blue Grouse   Norway   2 ore
Caucasian Grouse   Russia   1 ruble
Caucasian Grouse   Russia   50 ruble

Might be time to ask the RAM to do an Aussie coin with a Scrub Turkey on it.  ;D ;D

Thanks everyone for your responses. Ben Franklin would be sad that over 200 years later there are no turkeys on our coins, or anyone else's coins for that matter :D

Oh yeah, talk about the turkeys......the roosters.....the grouse...., BUT, what about the mighty GOOSE? How about the 1967 Canadian $1 coin? 'Tis one of my favorite coins!!

And the Australian Goose dollar, which is actually a black swan.
