To continue with coins that i think may have an error IMO :).
The rim of this coin doesnt seem to be of uniform thickness, so;
Is this an error?
What is the error name?
Does this increase the coin value?
Thanks for your help :)

There is a name for this, but I can't remember what it is :-\
I don't think it is valuable.
-
I'd call it a slightly off centre strike. Not really any extra value in Australia, too many of them around.

Thanks for the link :), I am quite sure that this wont increase the value, but is it considered an error and if so what is its name and what caused it?
Please pardon my many questions :-[

It is simply an off-centre die. Yes, you could consider it an error, but it is probably within the mint's specification tolerances. The technician (?) would probably note the off-centre and adjust the machinery accordingly. Interesting, but of little value.

Thanks Yass :)
So it is an error
The error name is off-center die
it adds no value to the coin
Thank you very much to all of you :)

It's probably a mis-aligned die. The striking die wasn't properly centered over the anvil die. It's very common.

Amr, this is what I was trying to think of the other day, but could not remember what it was called. longnine009 hit the nail right on the head! :)

So it is an error
The error name is mis-aligned die not off-center die
it adds no value to the coin
Thanks longnine009 and Nighthawk :) :)
