Title: 1813 Lion/Britannia Ha'penny Token

This is a halfpenny token of Great Britain that I picked up on Ebay not that long ago.  I think everyone realises why I had to have it, with that lovely lion striding across the obverse.

Unfortunately, it is pitted.  This token is probably nearly all copper, and easily damaged.  Still, it is quite a handsome coin for $2.00.  Someday I think I would like to pick up a better specimen of it, if I can find one for a decent price.

Have to say it is not one I have seen with that die combo.  Cool piece, thanks for sharing.

Miss Kitty, it don't look that bad. And for 2 bucks, you can't beat it!  :)
