Here's some neat stuff I found today at a local coin show I would like to share: The four coins in the 2 x 2's was $10 for the lot. The 3 British pennies I got for $1, the Isle of Man "Bank Penny" for $1, the 1940 half crown for $2, and the 1903 Canadian 5 cents for $3. Did I do well? :)

;D ;D ;D

Interesting variety of finds! :)
FYI-- your Canada 1903 5c was struck in Ottawa vs. the Heaton mint coins--and it's scarcer; 1M vs 2.6M minted.
At first glance, your coin appears to be VF, which Charlton lists at $30. ;D

For 3 bucks I guess you could call that a bargain huh? :)

Hey, I also just learned my I.O.M. Bank Penny KM# Tn10, was issued for 1 year only. 1811! :)
-
Just one year for the bank penny--very cool! ;D
I wish I knew more about the others, the East India Company 1/4 Anna coin is very nice too. From what I've learned from Sir George, that coin would be unavailable for export from India. And yes--$3 for the .925 Ag 1903 5c is my kind of deal--great "old silver" toning too.

Well! It seems you did do well.
Goodonya, John.

Geeze - I wish we could find bargains like that at our shows!

Well, Ma'am, you're just going to have to come visit now, aren't you! ;D

Wish I could afford to do just that!
