I wanted to post a great Norway coin I recently received from ElleKitty--just photographed today.
She was very generous to part with one of her feline coins in a trade. :D Thanks!

shot using a Nikon D70S with the Nikkor 60mm macro at f25.
Great details, color and very clean, square rims! :)

That is a beautiful coin and Ellekitty is a beautiful person.
She is responsible for many of the coins in my collection.

I really have to get myself a decent camera. The old point and shoot just doesn't cut it anymore.

Nice coin Kurt. Miss Kitty has sent me some neat stuff too, most of which I did not have an example of in my collection! Just love adding new stuff to my collection! It (my collection) grows almost daily! ;D

Wow, Kurt. That coin never looked so good when I had her. ;D I really am glad that everyone enjoys the coins that I send to them. :) I enjoy knowing that I can make my friends happy.

Miss Kitty, I agree. Making someone happy is one of the greatest feelings to have in one's life. When I hand out some inexpensive world coins to kids, be it at church, or a coin show, I love to watch their little faces light up with joy. Giving to others and making others happy is one of the greatest feelings I know of!!! :)

Quite agreed, Sir Triggersmob.

EK,
I think the 2x2 somewhat obscured this coin's looks. After several weeks in mineral oil to treat a tiny spot of verdigris, the coin looks as you see here--the color is fairly accurate. :D My camera does a pretty good job too (Nikon dSLR w/macro lens). All that remains is to improve my lighting setup. Thanks all for your comments! :)
