Hi fellow Nights and Nightesses ;D, or is that Fair Maidens 8)
Here is an UNC collection of the 50 cent coins in a Dansco Supreme album. These coins came from mint sets and envelopes as applicable. Please enjoy them as I do.

The scan of page 5 is not quite up to date as there has been an addition of the Diamond coin. It will be better when that page is full as the tape will cover the original writing. I bought 3 albums for the proof and UNC sets and used the pages from the 3rd album to supplement the others as I am not fond of the 12 coin pages. There is another album I am working on covering the variety coins. Cheers.

Mmm, that looks far closer to my own little set of 50 centers. Although, I haven't tried to get all of the NCLT coins issued in the fifty cent denomination. Mostly I've collected coins that have actually circulated for this set. In my opinion, it gives a little more character. :) Maybe someday soon I'll take pictures of mine, and post them up.

Nice set Rusty

Holy smokes! I knew Australia made a lot of circulating 50 cent designs, but didn't realize they took it that much further with their uncirculating designs!
-
Very nice set, thank you for sharing. plus it also give all of us another reference to use when trying to figure out all of the different 50 cents that we need.
-
A beauty of a set. Guess I know which coins I will try to get next.
You people are killing me with the great coins that I don't have, at least killing my wallet.

For interested 50¢ collectors, I'll set out a list of which coins in Rusty's pictures are NCLT.
Pages 1-3: 1986, 1987, 1989, 1990 & 1992 = NCLT
Pages 4-5: 2002 Accession, 2003 Coronation, 2005 CoA, 2006 Royal Visit, 2006 80th Birthday, all 16 x 2006 Commonwealth Games, 2007 Diamond Wedding Anniversary (not pictured yet) = all NCLT.
I think that makes 47 coins that have gone into circulation so far, incl the 2000 Incused Millennium.
2007 CoA hasn't showed up yet, currently available in Mint & Proof sets.

That looks very much like my set.
The pictures are helpful to me because they show me which coins I still need.
Several Aussies have been most helpful to me in establishing my collection, especially Gregk, Triggersmob, and muckeye. I am most grateful.
:) :) :) :)

I'm glad this is helpful for others to see exactly what is available. I scanned 2 more albums this morning and am going to start another thread, this time for one dollar coins. Cheers.

Great!! Then maybe I can finally put together that list of Aussie coins I still need.
On another note, are the incused Millenium coins hard to come by? I don't ever remember seeing one, and I was THERE for the Millenium!

Hi Topher,
Check out the Aussie Ebay site as there are usually a few on there. The prices seem to have fallen in the last 6 months or so. The first one I bought for around the $100 AU, but since have found one in circulation. EF and better coins are over the $100 mark. Cheers.

Geez. I don't want one THAT badly! LOL (at least, not yet)

Topher, The incused Millennium are getting anywhere between $16 - $50 at present. Do a completed item search on 'Incused Millennium' & you'll see all that sold in the last 30 days.
They were only identified about 2 years ago, I think, by a member of the Australian Coins, Tokens and Banknotes Forum. I think it was madbudgie. The RAM advised there's approx 200,000 of them. Brissyboy is the keeper of most of the decimal coin 'Stats' for the Aussie forum, and if I've remembered anything wrong, he'll be able to correct me. ;) ;) ;D ;D
